Article Marketing: Quality Vs Quantity

QUESTION: (Anonymous) How do you differentiate a quality article from a quantity article?

This is an interesting question because how do you define a “good quality” article and why would you strive to create a bad one?

When I think of “Quality Article”, I am referring to an article that its purpose is to entice readers, create followers, and provide the reader unbelievable content.  I usually personally write these articles or I may pay a well-established (usually pricey) writer to do it for me.  These types of articles I usually put on my own websites as well as places where my name and my authority may be recognized (like eZineArticles, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

Now the “Quantity Article” is usually done for the sole purpose of creating backlinks.   These DO need to be readible and usually the quality is not too bad.  Still, I usually would pay a lower priced author to write these types of articles and I may even go the extra step of “spinning” the article.  The can produce a lot of unique articles (and hopefully good backlinks) without the cost.

In fact, I usually have the “Quantity Articles” linking back to the “Quality Articles”, among other things.  It is just good SEO and Social Media Practice.

cheers…matt

Who is Behind Marketing Mind?

Matthew BredelMy name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer. For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...

Looking For Affiliates

Now that I have NetWebVideo up, going, and having members joining on a daily basis, it is time to step this up a little bit!  What I am referring to is Affiliates.  Having affiliates in the current state of the internet is almost a MUST to succeed.  Do you want to know why Amazon is [...]

Over-Thinking (Affiliate) Marketing

I put the term “Affiliate” in parentheses  because this does not specifically apply to affiliate marketing, but all marketing in general.
These days I talk to a lot of people about their online ventures, particularly affiliate marketing.  People are very excited about what they are doing and when they tell me their “concept”, they sound as [...]

NetWebVideo Launch Date is HERE

Boy, it has been a hectic week!  Trying to put everything together that you have been building for months now is a whole lot of work!  Preparing for a launch is a lot of work, too.  To be honest, though, I have to admit that my management of the project was not that crash hot.
First [...]

I’m a Bonehead - About Wordpress Comments

I have been running this blog of mine, MatthewBredel.com for about 8 months now.  I switched over from Blogger.com for a few reasons:
1)  Their automated moderators would at times shut down my blog for no real good reason at all
2)  The templates were easy to edit, but they did lack a bit of flexibility
3)  Some [...]

Ad copy and NOT You

As a teenager and a college student, I had many years of working with the public either as an ice cream scooper, a host, a server or a bartender. And the one thing they always told us was “The Customer is Always Right.”  Personally, there are limits to where a slogan like this can go [...]

htaccess, Redirect, and Protecting Your Links

If you are currently running a website, and more particular, if you are an affiliate marketer, it is time for you to learn how to use your .htaccess file. Many of you just went “huh?” Don’t worry! This stuff (at least this post) is going to be pretty straight forward.
Let me first [...]

Are eCommerce Store Builders Worth It?

Question: What is your opinion about Stores Online and eCommerce website building companies in general?
Response: I have come across Stores Online in the past (briefly) but I have not formally checked them out. (I assume this is the company at http://www.storesonlinepro.com). I really do not exactly know the price of this product, [...]

Recovering From a Non-Productive Day

Thursdays are usually blogging days for me, but not this week.  I know we all have them, but there are some days when getting things done seems like an impossibility.  If I could actually go BACKWARDS in working, yesterday was one of those days.  While I am frantically trying to pull together the launch of [...]
