Not everyone has had awesome luck with their first attempt at outsourcing. Matt Bredel had a heckuva time with outsourcing experiments time before he found some great freelance writers :).
Here are some tips to help you find the right person/people to outsource to:
1. Check them out. Do your own little background check. Can you find them online? What kind of online reputation do they seem to have? If you’re trying someone new, this doesn’t always apply but if you’re hiring a supposed seasoned pro, the proof will be in the SERPs.
2. Start small. Let that professional dabble with a few small projects for you before you entrust a large project or your secret passwords to them. Actually, if you can, set up separate accounts instead of divulging your own passwords!
Consider using a bidding service. This can be a great way to find great expertise at a price you can afford. Job bidding sites like Odesk, Elance, and Guru can offer you a link to a professional network of skilled freelancers you can outsource to (Matt has written reviews on some outsourcing sites at TheWebReviewer). You can use escrow services, check ratings scores, and let people bid on your project and demonstrate, with samples, how good they are.
There are a lot of potential benefits to outsourcing for your online business. You can outsource on occasion or set up a virtual assistant who helps you with a large array of tasks.
How do you know if a task is worth outsourcing?
1. If you can make more money having your time freed up than you could doing that task, it could be worth it.
2. If you start to enjoy your work day more and have more freedom to do what you love to do, it could be worth it.
3. If you get greater results from that professional freelancer than you’d get by toiling with that task yourself, it’s definitely worthwhile.

My name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer.
For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...
