(Continuing from The Frustrated Affiliate Marketer Part IV)
You recently created your first blog. There is a sense of accomplishment here because it looks pretty darn good. It took a little bit of trial and error to get those affiliate links right and the integration of Adsense required a little bit of research, but it really was not as bad as you thought. Technically, it is a blog but you structure it in such a way that it looks more like a review site. Something like this site: Making Money Reviews. You feel a bit more empowered now with giving Google Adwords another try. This time you have a landing page and hopefully you find minimum bid prices a little bit more reasonable. You also spend a little bit more time on researching keywords and the organization of your Adwords is according to Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to Adwords.
You decide to sit back for the week and see what happens.
******************************************************************************
You need to remember that you need to accept and celebrate every victory and every step of being an affiliate marketer. In this case, you successfully created a Blogger blog, learned how to insert Adsense and even got your first experience at writing a little bit of copy. This is all extremely valuable in itself. Also note that once you have finished the blog, we were able to apply what we learned from that last week (referring to Google Adwords) directly to this.
Do you see the momentum that is growing here? We have yet to really make a cent, yet our knowledge and confidence in the industry is starting to grow at a faster rate. The intimidation of advertising, web site creation and writing copy is becoming less of a challenge and more of a task. I always say this, but I will say it again:
There are NO failures in this field as long as we learn something at the end of the day. Some may look at our trials as being nothing more than failure, but I look at it as nothing more than learning. Believe it or not, but very few tasks in internet marketing are difficult. In fact, internet marketing is very simple! It is just understanding which tasks to do, how to do them and when to do them.
At this point, we are still not out of the woods yet and the frustration of not making money will continue. But as long as you accept and learn from these failures you are doing nothing more than get yourself closer to the goal (and that is MAKE MONEY ONLINE!).

My name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer.
For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...

Why can’t the government stop these companies from doing this over the internet. I get tired of being e-mailed these get rich quick schemes. Basically, this is fraud. The govenment should dedicate an office to officials being on the net to find all of the type people and companies, and crack down on them. Whatever it takes to get people to stop fraudulently sending this type of stuff over the internet.
