A Landing Page! You come to the conclusion that you need a landing page at this point. You have been spending some time online looking at what others have been marketing (and making money on). In fact, you have spent close to 2 weeks just researching out a few different markets and products. You also realize that now is the time to focus on what has already worked for others, rather than trying to invent the internet’s next MySpace or sell tomorrow’s iPod.
But how in the heck are you going to build a website? You really don’t know much about HTML, or for that matter, how the heck a website actually appears on your computer. You understand how a browser works, how to create and send email and maybe even know how to upload a video onto YouTube or post comments in a forum. But building your OWN website? Where do you start? Should you go and buy a copy of Dreamweaver? Should I pay someone to build my website? You don’t know if you can do this or not.

OK, take a few deep breaths and don’t worry so much! Realize that yes, I do think that you need a website, or at least a landing page if you plan on becoming an affiliate marketer. But this does not mean you need to become a web designer. In fact, most successful online marketers know nothing about web design. We do need to make some decisions at this point. There are easy, and free choices…and then there are complicated and expensive choices. At the beginning, especially before you ever make money I always recommend to choose easy and cheap. My first true “landing” page was nothing more than a blogger.com (Blogspot) blog. In this case, you do not get your own, specific domain name, but it is a unique URL that you can customize and add content to. This requires little to no web design skills and it is free! Sure, with free and easy comes limitations. Still, it may be an excellent start to get a good feel about creating content, setting up affiliate links, setting up Adsense, and becoming familiar with website design and structure.

Don't Buy Another Money Making Product Until You Watch These FREE Videos! |
My name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer.
For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...

Hi,
Thanks for your newsletter. I am a successful ebay seller.I am looking for a fast not too expensive way to start an e- commerce website to offset recent high ebay fees .which can include some affiliate marketing etc, What do you suggest?
Sincerely,
david Zeller
