If you get the error message: “unable to save closed caption track” while uploading a closed caption video transcription to your YouTube video, you are probably uploading things a bit too fast.
If you get the error message: “unable to save closed caption track” while uploading a closed caption video transcription to your YouTube video, you are probably uploading things a bit too fast. This is speculation, but I do find that on days that I try to upload multiple videos onto YouTube, the system holds back (probably to prevent spamming attacks). In this case, I was uploading a lot of videos and when I tried to upload and save the closed captioning, it gave me the following error:

After trying to upload other Subviewer files (even ones that worked in the past), I continued to get this message.
After all my videos uploads (and a couple of hours later), I went back and sure enough it uploaded properly now.
The moral here: If you get this message…don’t waste your time trying to fix anything! This is YouTube right now, not anything you are specifically doing!
cheers…matt

Don't Buy Another Money Making Product Until You Watch These FREE Videos! |
My name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer.
For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...
