As a budding woman in internet marketing, I’ve been examining several female online entrepreneurs lately. This week I’ve been looking at Rosalind Gardner of the Super Affiliate Handbook. Rosalind is a former air traffic controller turned Affiliate Marketing guru. She started off by dabbling with a review site about dating and over the following decade she built herself an online empire. I often tell people that’s what I’m doing…building an online empire one keystroke at a time.

Rosalind teaches people how to become affiliate marketers and make money selling other people’s stuff. That’s the beauty of the internet. Not only can you find out information on just about everything there is but you can also monetize the web and make money and then you can monetize your knowledge and get paid to teach people stuff. Very inspiring!

I think I could be the next Rosalind Gardner if I wanted to. I’m not saying that’s what I aspire to do but if I wanted to, how would I do that?

1. Learn something new every single day.
2. Monetize that knowledge
3. Compile it and make money teaching others how to do it.

One of the things I found impressive is that even though she’s making money teaching others, she’s still running her own money making websites herself. A lot of gurus don’t do that and I think it can make them lose their edge. Rosalind still manages her sites and like the rest of us, she’s probably still checking her daily stats to see what keywords she’s ranking for and how much money she’s making on ClickBank, Google Adsense, and other sites.

Ok, so she might be seeing much higher digits than we do but staying involved at that level probably helps a teacher better relate to his or her students and that probably makes her a great person to learn from.
