Changing the Font & Style of Your H1 Tags

QUESTION: (Rhonda) I am having problems changing the font size of my H1text. Is this very important? If so, how do I go about changing it?

Changing the text and/or style of an H1 tag is simple in CSS.  It does not affect anything other than how the visitor sees it though (i.e., if you use a large font, it means nothing more than a smaller font, in SEO terms or how Google sees it).

You can change the H1 tag locally or in the CSS definition file.

If you want to change all of the H1 tag settings in your entire website, you would do this in the CSS file:

h1 {
font-size: 24px;
}

You would use the h1 tag as you normally would:
<h1>This is my H1 tag</h1>

You can define a class in the CSS file which allows you to define your new style whenever you wish anywhere on the site:

.h1style {
font-size: 24px;
}

You would add this class to your h1 tag, when you wish it:

<h1 class=”h1style”>This is my H1 Tag</h1>

* Remember to add the “.” when defining it in the CSS to classify it as a class.

Finally, you can do it locally using a style attribute (without the CSS file):

<h1 style=”font-size:24px;”>This is my H1 Tag</h1>

All of the above do the exact same thing.  Their use is based on how often you use the style and how you want it defined (whether globally or locally).

Also, remember you can add other styles to the same definition (like color):

<h1 style=”font-size:24px; color:red;”>This is my H1 Tag that is Red and 24px high</h1>

I find that being able to change the styles of my text for header and other standard tags to be quite invaluable!  Knowing a little bit of CSS can go a long way.  Give this a try!

The easiest thing to try first is the local definition using the style attribute. If this is working for you, consider creating or editing your own CSS file!

“Is Formula 5 Right For Me?”
And I think it is a totally fair question, too. This is NOT your
type online product that we have seen and because of it,
there is a lot of confusion over what it will do for you.
Now there are plenty of pages of success stories and
testimonials [...]

 My number one question is currently:

“Is Formula 5 Right For Me?”

And I think it is a totally fair question, too. This is NOT your
type online product that we have seen and because of it,
there is a lot of confusion over what it will do for you.

Now there are plenty of pages of success stories and
testimonials over the product (I totally believe them, too,
particularly since I know a couple of them).

But IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

I have spent a fair bit of time going to documentation and
videos lately (but like I said in my last review, I forgo’ed the option
of participating in the trial which included mastermind groups,
webinars, coaching and support…a big part of this…).

After going over the material I came to two conclusions about who Formula 5 will work best for:

1)  People who already have existing websites and are making
some money (no matter how minimal) online.

This program is NOT about creating websites or optimizing
pages for organic search engine traffic or mastering PPC.  This
is about getting the most out of your business.  Here are some
points:

- If you sell products, how to price them to make the most profit
- Using upsells and follow-ups to increase potential customer worth
- How to find more customers, other than the conventional methods
- Methods of getting your customers to buy (and buy more)
- General time and business management

2)  People who want to understand more about business, in
general.

This is what I really loved about Formula 5 (and is a major reason
why it has been so successful for me).  Personally, I entered
online marketing about 3 years ago with NO education or experience
in business (I was a circuit designer living in a cubicle).

My biggest struggle has always been growing/managing my
business and marketing.  Formula 5 has kind of been my own
Business Degree and has caused me to change a lot of the structure
of my own businesses.

Who is Formula 5 for?

If you don’t have any formal education in business and marketing
and you are currently trying or want to “create a business” online,
this is a pretty go way to go.

This is not about earning a few extra bucks nor is it a new simple
strategy to makes buckets of money quick.

This is education.
