While at Affiliate Summit West, I got a copy of Missy Ward’s and Shawn Collins’ Internet Marketing for the Real Experts. I really liked it….and it was not your typical physical book either.
I know I am about 2 weeks late with this video, but better late than never, right?
(Actually, I have some Australia videos that I haven’t gotten to yet, either…all in due time!)
But for today, I wanted to give Shawn Collins and Missy Ward some props for their new book Internet Marketing for the Real Experts.
Yes, I did receive the book for free at Affiliate Summit, but I have to admit that I am not much of a “book reader” (I wish I was). I wasn’t actually expecting to read this book, but its structure tempted me.
It is a compilation of 88 affiliate marketers within the “Affiliate Summit Inner Circle” each contributing a page or two on their strengths. This includes topics such as general affiliate marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), social media and more.
I liked it because the tips were quick and to the point. Chapters are only a couple of pages long and it makes for great night-time reading (especially for those like me who can only make it through about 4 pages before going to bed).
Personally, I found some real gems in the book (and I’ve been doing this for years). And still, for the new marketer, this will give you a lot of fundamental insight to many of the aspects involved with internet marketing.
I liked it and recommended it. You can check it out at Amazon:

My name is Matthew Bredel and as of March, 2007, I am a full-time, work-at-home internet marketer.
For close to 10 years, I worked for a defense company which was an OK job, but I was so uninspired in life and frankly, I needed some more money. That is when I first discovered internet marketing! Now I admit that I didn't start making thousands in my first couple of months (in fact, I lost my shirt!), but I finally saw the "internet light"...
